We got to d fishing spot late n were only able to catch a few live bait.D tide was high n there were several guys already in place with live baits being free slacked. One of d guys had a mackerel prob bout 5lbs in a bucket.
We each sent out a live bait on bottom n continued trying to catch bait but that proved futile.
All of d guys eventually left by 8:30pm n we had d spot all to ourselves.
Reggie registered d 1st good hit with a hand reel on bottom but d fish only teased by running short n dropping d bait, that was slab conga which reggie caught earlier.
His patience finally paid off n he landed d only catch of d night.
I found that my lines got broken twice. I believe that these were congas as d reels didn't move out''.
